That rules him out of the running for the latest vacancy under my thumbs how, exactly? It sounds more like he inquired about the room in my PS2 and then turned up with a reference from Kurosawa and a character statement from Doomguy. So Neo can punch people 10 times a second, jump between skyscrapers and take on two hundred Hugo Weavings simultaneously. We are programmed to overlook the average lead's implausible capacity for violence and utterly ludicrous resilience in the face of everything from headshots to head-stomps from 90-foot robot-dragons. Too powerful for what? Too powerful to be a videogame character? Don't we, um, routinely withstand the organised might of entire armies when we take on the mantle of an ordinary-guy-with-nothing-to-lose? I've been rookies-on-the-force with nought but a handgun and an entire drugs cartel out to get me, and emerged a cigar-smoking, rocket-launching, bullet-dodging lunatic standing on a mountain of erstwhile goons. oh boy. Here's what I don't get about Enter The Matrix: It wasn't about Neo because Neo is too powerful.

(that includes typos on the manual referencing left trigger button for actions, lol).

So I am not knocking console games at all, and I -am- knocking shiny ent for cutting every corner they could to get this game to work on a PC regardless of how bad it looked or how crappy the controlls were. so when I say console port, I mean an Xbox or PS2 port. handheld controller) and the graphics (improved detail in textures and wireframe models because monitors show off all the imperfections in ways your TV does not - but that is changing a lot with new TVs and consoles) your console game which was sorta fun SUCKS on the pc. I am not trying to pin anything on consoles, but when you port a console game right to PC without rethinking the controls (kb + mouse vs. Don't buy it for PC AT LEAST until the relase patch #2, and only then if they fix these problems. I'm lucky to have an N52, so I only needed to rebind 1 key, but it was still a pain in the ass. And the key bindings wouldn't save after you quit the program. You can't even navigate the menus with a mouse. I was lucky that it worked fine for me (more or less), but it did crash a couple of times. I've also read numerous reports of it not working on PC's, moreso than is usual for a new game. The biggest pity is how good it could have been.

THE MATRIX PATH OF NEO PROBLEM CODE

It's not Enter the Matrix bad, but a lot of code was pulled from ETM and that should tell you something. WTF!? Utterly inappropriate for this kind of material, especially as there are parts that try very hard to mimic the tone of the movies, cyper punk in general, as well as film noir.

Not the new boss you may or may not have seen, but that they play Queen's "We are the Champions" at the end. I won't even mention the ending, but I was pissed at it. I like Paul Goddard (Agent Brown in Matrix 1) and you couldn't even tell it was meant to be him. The fighting is fun (kicking 3 people in the head at once never gets old) and the sound was excellent (even the substitute voice actors), but the graphics suck ard, especially compared to the consoles *gag.* The really F'ed some of the faces, particularly the Agents. I also got the game (being a HUGE Matrix fan I had to) and it is pretty lame.
